  1. All right, a new poem!! And I like it, the sound and the images both. Echoes of Seamus Heaney here. Did you consider starting each stanza with a capital,or ending each with some sort of punctuation? Dunno. At first I tried to continue straight from “chink”to “cease.” I like how each stanza relates a different period of the work.

    • Thanks for your ideas, I think capitals and periods help….I’ll probably look at it and change it more in the future…it’s been through a lot of permutations, and still occasionally begs to be deleted altogether. I’ll look into Mr. Heaney….not sure I’ve read any.
