Wood fire, lit in October, is out.

  1. Hi Mike – in spite of moving to the city I still dream about having to keep the fire burning and also am quite aware of the warming outside and what that used to mean in terms of hearth responsibilities. This is even though we started using oil heat in Vermont after the price of wood went up (and the price of oil went down). No longer the case, as we all know.

You’re very responsible though, if it really hasn’t been out since October! I always lost it at least a couple of times during the winter.

  2. Responsible….obsessive….it can be a fine line, Jon. I detailed my woodburning adventures in this earlier post: https://mykwerks.wordpress.com/2012/02/11/hot-is-pretty/
